The MDM Lead drives Hussmann’s Master Data Management (MDM) strategy and execution across Customer, Vendor, and Product (Parts/Material) master data domains to support digital transformation, AI-readiness, and operational excellence. This role owns the Parts/Product Master strategy, establishes enterprise data governance, and drives measurable data quality improvements tied to business and manufacturing KPIs including OEE, inventory accuracy, change-propagation time, and ESG reporting.
Serving as Hussmann’s senior enterprise Data Steward, this leader partners with business stakeholders, IT teams, and Enterprise Business Solutions (EBS) leadership to embed governance, source-system remediation, and continuous improvement into the way Hussmann operates. Deep expertise in Informatica (IDMC/MDM, IDQ, Cloud Data Quality, CLAIRE-assisted matching and enrichment) is essential.
Responsibilities:
Data Governance & Stewardship
Serve as the enterprise Data Steward for Customer, Vendor, and Product master data domains.
Establish governance structures, stewardship processes, ownership models, standards, and SLAs.
Drive business accountability for data quality, governance, and day-to-day stewardship.
Improve MDM maturity and reduce critical master data issues.
Product / Parts Master & Digital Thread
Own Hussmann’s Parts/Product Master strategy from design through steady-state operations.
Define golden record standards, hierarchies, classifications, and survivorship rules.
Support digital thread initiatives through BOM alignment across Engineering, Manufacturing, and Service.
Partner cross-functionally to ensure trusted master data supports transactions, pricing, warranty, service, and analytics.
Consolidate fragmented data across ERP, PLM, CRM, and PIM systems into a trusted enterprise source.
MDM Strategy, Data Quality & AI Readiness
Develop and execute a multi-domain MDM roadmap aligned to business priorities.
Establish and track data quality KPIs including completeness, accuracy, timeliness, and duplicate reduction.
Drive root-cause remediation within source systems through partnership with ERP, CRM, Engineering, and Data teams.
Ensure master data is AI-ready through strong lineage, quality, governance, and completeness.
Informatica & Enterprise Leadership
Lead adoption and optimization of Informatica MDM, IDQ, Cloud Data Quality, and CLAIRE capabilities.
Establish scalable integration patterns, governance standards, and reusable frameworks.
Partner with EBS leaders to embed MDM into enterprise transformation initiatives.
Lead MDM teams, vendors, and partners while driving accountability, productivity, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
12+ years of progressive IT experience, including 5+ years in leadership.
5+ years leading MDM, Data Governance, or Data Quality programs, including Informatica implementations.
Hands-on expertise with Informatica IDMC/MDM, IDQ, Cloud Data Quality, and CLAIRE-assisted matching preferred.
Experience leading Product/Parts, Customer, or Vendor master data programs in manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environments.
Experience integrating MDM with ERP, CRM, PLM, and cloud platforms.
Strong stakeholder management, organizational change, vendor management, and executive communication skills.
