Job Description:
A detail-oriented nurse with a passion for clinical accuracy and resident care, we are seeking a skilled MDS Coordinator to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will work hand-in-hand with and directly assist our MDS Director. Work side-by-side with the MDS Director to audit clinical records, track census changes, and ensure total alignment with Federal, State, and Medicare PPS/PDPM guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Help monitor daily nursing documentation to ensure all care delivered is accurately supported and coded for proper reimbursement.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and a collaborative "team-player" mindset.
- Minimum of 1 year of MDS experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care facility is highly preferred.
