    MDS Coordinator Waterview Woods

    The overall responsibility of the MDS Coordinator is to help assure timely completion of the MDS with a focus on accuracy, case mix maximization, and regulatory compliance. He/she oversees the clinical and regulatory component of MDS completion related to reimbursement. This position also coordinates care plan completion with the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) and renders clinical support to nursing staff to enhance accurate assessments, care plans and excellent quality of care.

    This position covers our Waterview Woods location in Eveleth, MN and our Waterview Shores location in Two Harbors, MN.

    Qualifications:

    Must have:

    • Must be a Registered nurse (RN) in the state of Minnesota.
    • Must have successfully completed or seek certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and emergency care for the health care provider.
    • Must possess the ability to communicate verbally and in writing when directing the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process and when performing and assessing care for residents.

    Preferred:

    • Experience in healthcare, skilled nursing facility or assisted living community.
    • Experience with MDS and Resident Assessment Instrument.
