Job Objective/Summary: The MDS Coordinator - RN is a finance related position requiring good clinical skills to develop, implement, and manage a successful Medicare Part A program from admissions through discharge. Must promote good public relations for the unit and maintain patient confidentiality.
Job Education, Licenses/Certifications, Knowledge & Experience: Must hold a valid and active license in good standing as an RN in the state of Arkansas. Completion of an accredited nursing program. Strong knowledge of nursing principals, practices and procedures. Compassionate, patient-centered approach. Knowledge of Medicare regulators. Prior experience completing M.D.S's. Currently AANAC RAC-CT certification or willing to pass certification within 90 days of employment.
