MDT Coordinator can be housed anywhere in the Northwest Region.
A successful applicant for this position must have a current Child Welfare Certification and this information must be reflected on your application.

MDT Coordinator must demonstrate the ability to schedule and hold multi-disciplinary staffings within legislative timeframes ensuring all relevant parties are invited to attend. Use appropriate methods to engage and empower families and collaborate with relevant stakeholders towards making decisions in the best interest of the children in a safe and family-centered manner. Mediate disagreements and reach consensus with all relevant parties when possible, regarding placement, sibling, and educational decisions. Effectively present pertinent information during multi-disciplinary staffings utilizing a strengths-based approach to identify goals for the children and best interest factors. Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with organizations and other agencies involved with child welfare such as community-based care providers, Childrens Legal Services, Guardian Ad Litem, schools, clinical professionals, and other community agency resources.
