    Kinetik employees have decades of experience in West Texas and provide all the important services our customers need to deliver gas and crude oil production to market, which include gathering, transportation, compression, processing and produced water management.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    The Measurement Specialist will serve as primary Liaison for projects, perform advanced troubleshooting, and support Measurement Technicians as needed to install, operate, and maintain all measurement equipment safely and in accordance with Company Policy and applicable Industry Standards.

    • Operating a Company-owned vehicle in a safe and responsible manner.
    • Serving as primary Liaison to advise and represent measurement interests in project work and commissioning.
    • Performing advanced troubleshooting of measurement issues that require a more advanced skill set, research, and/or require significant time to resolve.
    • Assisting Measurement Technicians as needed in the performance of all necessary troubleshooting, maintenance and repair work on (EFMs), primary measurement devices, gas chromatographs, continuous samplers, LACT units, and regulation equipment.
    • Providing training to Measurement Technicians when opportunities arise to improve their skill level.
    • Auditing measurement stations as required.
    • Participating in operational review of measurement policy, procedures, equipment and facility design to ensure accuracy and reliability.
    • Supporting system balances and advise other Operations groups as required, to resolve issues to maintain control of this key business parameter.
    • Communicating effectively and maintaining effective work relationship with broad range of customers, Measurement Analysts, Producer Customers, other internal workgroups, and Management, both internal and external to the Company.
    • Monitoring SCADA and MDS systems to identify and address potential issues.
    • Analytical and abstract thinking skills with the ability to quickly process information and solve problems.
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
    • Promoting and ensuring a safe working environment including adherence to all safety regulations and procedures, as well as ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and industry practices relating to the Measurement Process.
    • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a field setting with minimal direct supervision.
    • Perform all assigned duties in a safe, professional manner with the utmost integrity and in accordance with all applicable laws and Company policy.

    Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required, with Minimum 3 years' of related experience in natural gas related industry.
    • Possess and maintain a valid driver license to include a safe driving record satisfactory to the company
    • Advanced knowledge, technical expertise and work experience relating to this position.
    • Basic computer skills including proficiency with MS Outlook and Excel, as well as specialized software to interface with Electronic Flow Meters (EFMs), Gas Chromatographs and other related equipment.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Must be able to work outdoors in extreme weather and perform heavy lifting up to 50 pounds in a safe manner.
    • Available for overtime and call-outs as needed based on business necessity.
    • Able to work in close quarters: i.e., working while kneeling, squatting, sitting, climbing, and standing
    • Regular and reliable attendance.
