ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operation of Meat Processing Equipment; CryoVac, MultiVacs, Dicers, Needle, Slicer, Portion Cutters, Scales, Pack, trim and customize portions of meat products using knives, or other meat production equipment.
- Count and stack on tray portions per customer and company specifications.
- Label portion with supplied number product labels.
- Set up packing and labeling area as required.
- Perform end of day functions.
- Actively maintain, and merchandise partial cart.
- Keep packing area and cutting room and surrounding area clean and sanitized.
- Follow company GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) to maintain sanitary conditions.
- Perform end of day functions.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
SUPERVISION:
- The incumbent is not required to provide direct supervision for any position.
RELATIONSHIPS:
- Internal: The incumbent is required to interact with employees at all levels of responsibility throughout the company.
- External: The incumbent may be required to perform demonstration cuts or packing for tours, and sales team.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Work continually in a refrigerated environment 35°F- 45°F. Incumbent must have the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Finish time is when work is completed and could require overtime with or without notice.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with CryoVac, MultiVac, Dicers, Needle, Slicer,Portion Cutter, laser portion machinery or other meat production equipment is preferred.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of all poultry, beef, lamb, and pork products preferred.
- Knowledge of USDA grades and standards.
EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law (for example: state minimum wage thresholds). The expected base rate for this role is between $21.00 - $24.00.
As applicable, this role may also receive overtime compensation.
