MECHANIC - $35/hr

We are seeking a full time diesel mechanic to join our team! HTM Contractors, Inc., a leading service contractor in Honolulu, Hawaii, is seeking a skilled Mechanic specializing in Heavy Equipment and Diesel Engines. We are a diversified company offering services in tree service, junk removal, roll-off dumpster rental, environmental cleaning, and street sweeping. Pay & Schedule:
- $35 per hour
- Monday - Friday, 7:00AM - 3:30PM
- Weekly Pay

The Work:
- Performing the diagnosis & repair of company-owned assets
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance
- Performing the scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) and/or services on company-owned assets
- Tire repair & replacement
- Maintain shop cleanliness, organization, efficiency, and safety
- Repair automobiles, trucks, excavators, skid steers, bucket trucks, cranes, wood chippers, and other tools and equipment.
- Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
- Perform quality inspections prior to returning the trucks and equipment to be in use
Requirements:
- Valid driver license
- Clean abstract
- Must have own tools
- Previous experience with diesel engine diagnostics-repair & maintenance, hydraulic diagnostics-repair & maintenance
- Additional experience is a plus in the following:
- Gasoline diagnostics-repair & maintenance
- Small engine diagnostics-repair & maintenance
- Equipment operation
- Electrical
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
