About the Role:
Irvine Auto Repair is looking for a skilled Mechanic and Inspector to join our growing team in Irvine, CA! Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections and accurately document findings
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and computer-related automotive issues
• Execute repairs and maintenance on a wide range of vehicle makes and models
• Conduct brake, suspension, steering, and drivetrain repairs
• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and routine preventive maintenance services
• Utilize diagnostic scan tools and equipment to identify and resolve issues
• Communicate repair recommendations clearly to service advisors and customers

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or technician
• ASE certification(s) preferred or willingness to obtain
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools, scan tools, and shop equipment
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems including engine, transmission, brakes, and electrical
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced shop environment
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
