Overview
A Plus Expediting & Logistics, Inc. is seeking an auto mechanic for our privately owned fleet. The prospective applicant would mostly do maintenance and as needed repairs to vehicles we own. This role is crucial for ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet of vehicles and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
• Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment for repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed.
• Collaborate with supervisor to prioritize repairs ensuring timely completion of tasks.

Requirements

• Experience in automotive repair or as a mechanic, preferably with fleet vehicles.
• Proficiency in equipment repair, including the use of hand tools and diagnostic instruments.
• Knowledge in vehicle maintenance protocols.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills to effectively convey technical information.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
