We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in maintaining and repairing a wide range of trucks and heavy equipment used in the tree service industry, including pickups, dump trucks, brush chippers, loaders, and bucket trucks. Responsibilities


  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines and hydraulic systems.
  • Perform electrical troubleshooting and repair.
  • Rebuild motors and replace components like tail lights and other vehicle systems.
  • Mount and balance tires for various vehicles and equipment.
  • Repair and maintain vehicle air conditioning systems.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure the longevity of equipment.
  • Perform welding repairs as needed (preferred but not required).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications


  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a mechanic.
  • Strong expertise in diesel engine repair and hydraulic systems.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, vehicle air conditioning repair, and motor rebuilding.
  • Proficiency in basic welding techniques (a plus but not mandatory).
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL license is a plus.
