Job Description
Mechanic I
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Inspect equipment and identify mechanical issues
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing
- Repair, replace, adjust, and lubricate mechanical components
Troubleshoot and repair:
- Pumps
- Gearboxes
- Drive systems
- Hydraulic systems
- Related mechanical equipment
Disassemble and reassemble machinery and equipment components
- Operate hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and shop machinery
- Conduct operational testing to verify repairs and performance
Read and follow:
- Maintenance manuals
- Service instructions
- Technical documentation
Required:
- Previous mechanical maintenance or repair experience, or equivalent technical training
- Working knowledge of mechanical systems and repair practices
