Mechanic II

BayCare is currently in search of our newest Team Member who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. We are looking for an individual seeking a career opportunity with one of the largest employers within the Tampa Bay area.

Position Details:

• Location: Mease Dunedin Hospital - Dunedin, Florida
• Status: Full-time
• Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm
• Days: Monday - Friday / Every 3rd weekend

Responsibilities

• Performs demand and scheduled preventive maintenance of the facility equipment to primarily include Mechanical, Utilities and associated systems in accordance with departmental, hospital and regulatory agency codes.
• Specific duties include maintaining facilities and equipment in hospital or clinic environment.
• May be scheduled to work various work shifts and weekends to meet the needs of the hospital not necessarily within the craft lines.
• May require travel to perform necessary maintenance work at other BCHS facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

• Required - High School or Equivalent
• Preferred: Technical

Licenses

• Required - FL Driver's License

Experience

• Required: 5 years as a Service-Related Technician
• Preferred: 3 Years Hospital Maintenance
• Preferred: 1 year high-rise mechanical or utilities systems
• Preferred: Fourth-Grade Stationary Engineer's License
