What You Will Do

  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues across stamping, forming, welding, and assembly equipment
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions—not just quick fixes
  • Execute preventive and predictive maintenance to stay ahead of breakdowns
  • Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals with confidence
  • Partner with engineering and production teams to optimize machine performance
  • Support installation and commissioning of new or upgraded equipment
  • Champion safety standards, including LOTO and machine guarding
  • Mentor and guide junior mechanics, sharing your expertise and raising the bar

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or GED required (technical training or degree preferred)
  • 7+ years of mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing (metal stamping or automotive preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of presses, dies, hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyors
  • Ability to troubleshoot independently and solve complex mechanical challenges
  • Experience with ISO standards (IATF/VDA exposure is a plus)
  • Familiarity with welding, fabrication, and machining (preferred)
  • A mindset focused on continuous improvement and operational excellence
