Field Service Technician — Material Handling Equipment
St. Louis, Missouri | $25–$35/hr | Full Benefits
We're looking for a skilled, self directed technician to join our field service team in the St. Louis area. This is a road based role, you'll be on site at customer facilities diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a range of material handling equipment, mostly forklifts and related industrial machinery. You'll work independently most of the time, so we need someone who takes ownership and communicates well without needing to be managed closely.
What you'll be doing
Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on customer equipment. Performing scheduled PMs and safety inspections. Completing work orders accurately and on time. Building solid working relationships with the customer contacts you see regularly.
What we're looking for
Two or more years of hands on experience repairing forklifts, industrial equipment, or similar machinery. Comfortable reading schematics and using diagnostic tools. Clean driving record, you'll be in a company vehicle daily. Strong troubleshooting instincts and the initiative to work through problems without a lot of hand-holding.
