About the Role:
Join General Airframe Support as a Mechanic (Licensed or Unlicensed) in Marana, AZ, where you’ll play a key role in aircraft teardowns and reclamation. We’re seeking motivated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and want to contribute to high-quality aviation support.
Responsibilities:
- Perform aircraft teardowns in accordance with company procedures and safety standards
- Disassemble aircraft systems and components for reclamation and reuse
- Identify, tag, and document serviceable parts and materials
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and effectively
- Follow detailed work instructions, manuals, and regulatory guidelines
- Assist with inventory tracking and parts organization
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
- Collaborate with team members to meet production timelines and quality expectations
Requirements:
- Prior mechanical and reclamation experience preferred (aviation experience a plus, but not required)
- A&P license preferred but not required
- Ability to read and follow technical manuals and work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in varying conditions
- Willingness to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills for documentation and inventory tracking
- High school diploma or equivalent required
