Pay Rate: $34.10 / hour


Duties:

The Mechanic will repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment, including engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines. Key responsibilities include:


+ Observing mechanical devices in operation to identify the causes of issues.

+ Diagnosing equipment failures and recommending appropriate repair actions.

+ Dismantling devices to remove and replace defective parts and installing special functional and structural components.

+ Adjusting functional parts of devices and control instruments.

+ Initiating purchase orders for parts and machinery.

+ Ensuring that all equipment complies with OEM specifications and regulatory requirements.

+ Administering the Preventive Maintenance program using the computer system and following Preventive Maintenance Work Order procedures.

Position Requirements:

Job Qualifications:


+ Technical school education is preferred.

+ A minimum of 3 years of mechanical repair experience in a heavy industrial setting or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


Working Conditions / Physical Demands:


+ The employee will regularly be required to stand, walk, use hands for handling or feeling, and reach with hands and arms.

+ The employee will frequently need to climb, balance, and communicate verbally or by listening.

+ The employee may occasionally be required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

+ The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.

+ Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.


Requirements: Background Check, Drug Test, Must be at least 18 years old., required education: HS Diploma or GED.

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $34.10 - $34.10 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
