Overview:
Perform the task required to maintain and repair the mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical components of various types of equipment while working in field conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot equipment problems to determine the type of maintenance or repairs, which are necessary and report these to the Equipment Manager for approval prior to taking action.
- Perform the preventative maintenance tasks per the manufacturer recommendations on the assignedequipment as approved by the Equipment
- Perform the require equipment maintenance and repairs as assigned by the Equipment
- Maintain quality standards by conforming to all manufacturer specifications for maintenance and repairs.
- Conduct a thorough inspection of each piece of equipment being repaired and report any potentialoradditional problemstotheEquipment
- Completeassignedtasksin areasonableand efficient
- Reportany probable case of operator negligence or abuse to the Equipment
- Provide a report of all repairs and maintenance actions,including parts and time to complete, oneachpieceofequipmentworkedon,totheEquipment

- Observe all shop safety practices. Report all injuries and occupationally related illnesses immediately to the Equipment Manager.
- Maintain your assigned vehicle in a clean and orderly fashion. Maintain a sufficient stock level of fasteners, hardware, welding supplies and small quantities of appropriate fluids required to maintain and repair all assigned equipment
- Possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (Minimum Class B) and updated medical certifications with an acceptable driving history.

Qualifications:
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- Extensive knowledge ofdieselandgasolineengine
- Extensive knowledge of hydraulics and hydraulic systems
- Extensiveknowledge of pneumatics and pneumatic systems

- Extensive knowledge of drive train repair.

- Compensation $35 - $40 an hour, commensurate with experience
