ESSENTIALJOB FUNCTIONS:
Service and repair of all fleet vehicles.Perform preventive maintenance (lube, oilchange, replace belts, hoses, inspect brakes, repack bearings, check tires, onall size vehicles. Must perform per month.Diagnose and effectively repair mechanical,engine and electrical irregularities/malfunctions on all size vehicles.Drive automatic and standard shift vehiclesfor testing, transfer, and pick-up/delivery of parts.Perform inventory and order parts, supplies,as needed.
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to read and understand technicalservice manuals, repair orders, labels, and gauges (in English).Ability to write work orders, purchaseorders.
Ability to communicate verbally (in English)using telephone for ordering parts and suppliesPossession of valid driver's license andability to drive both automatic and standard transmission vehicles from 2,000to 50,000 lbs. in size.Unrestricted ability to walk, stand, bend,stoop, squat, lift (up to 50 lbs.), push, pull, climb, and lie on back inhorizontal position for prolonged periods of time.Ability to hoist any size vehicle with liftdevice (vehicle jack) using foot and arm pumping motion.
Ability to lift and hold parts (weighing upto _50__ lbs.) in position while lying on back in horizontal position onconcrete floor.Work is performed in a semi-enclosedstructure and outdoors. Environment involves chemical handling, gasoline/dieselfumes and intermittent high noise exposure.Full-time schedule consists of an average of40 hours per week for a 5-day period.

Armored Service Technicians work as a team on a designated route. You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of cash and coin to Loomis customers, as well as the loading and balancing of ATM machines along your route. You will be thoroughly Trained in a classroom setting and receive on-the-job training with an experienced Armored Service Technician. We believe that our people make Loomis a great company. We are looking for applicants who are at least 21 years of age, have a current driver’s license and a good driving record, show steady employment history and can pass a comprehensive background check that includes criminal history check. This position requires that you pass a Department of Transportation screening and be issued a DOT Medical Certification.
