Louis is hiring a full-time Mechanic's Assistant/General Shop Maintenance to support Construction Equipment Repair and Maintenance across our Rockville shop. This entry-level role exists to keep equipment, tools, and work areas ready so mechanics can stay focused on safe, efficient repairs.Key responsibilities include assisting with routine service and upkeep, basic troubleshooting, shop/yard organization, and helping with repairs on Diesel and Gas Engines.Required skills/qualifications:- Basic mechanic experience- Diesel experience is helpful- Welding is a plus- Reliable attendance for a Monday–Friday schedulePay is $20–$25 per hour. Throughout the day, you’ll coordinate with mechanics on priorities, track needed parts or supplies, and keep your workspace clean and ready for the next task.
