About the role

A mechanic is a professional who repairs and maintains machinery and parts. A mechanic's duties include inspecting, diagnosing, and fixing faults, conducting safety checks, and keeping records of the work done. A mechanic uses manual tools and technological devices to perform the tasks. A mechanic also communicates with customers and coworkers to establish timeframe and cost of each project.

Mechanic/Technician-Night Shift

Your main tasks and responsibilities:  

• Assemble machines utilizing the specified assembly checklist
• Disassemble and inspect machines utilizing the specified disassembly and inspection checklist
• Complete all documentation pertaining to the work assignment
• Communicate mechanical issues found during inspection to the appropriate Department Supervisor
• Work closely and clearly communicate with the other departments, Mechanical personnel, Supervisor and Lead Man

To succeed in this role, you will need: 

• Must be able to work overtime when necessary
• Must be able to use precision measuring instruments
• Must have experience working with turbo machinery repair
• Must have the required tools to perform their expected tasks
