We’re looking for a dependable and motivated student to join our team as a Mechanic Youth Apprentice. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and learn mechanical skills by working alongside our experienced Mechanic. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with basic inspections, repairs, and maintenance on trailers, trucks, and equipment
- Learn to perform routine tasks like oil changes, tire checks, and fluid checks
- Keep the shop, tools, and work areas clean and organized
- Support the mechanic with day-to-day tasks and ongoing repairs
- Learn how to safely use tools and equipment
Qualifications
- High school student
- Completion of shop classes or hands-on mechanical experience required
- Interest in mechanics, equipment, or working with your hands
- Willingness to learn, take direction, and grow skills
- Reliable, hardworking, and a team player
- Basic problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lift, stand for extended periods, and climb ladders as needed
