Position Summary:

\n

We are seeking a motivated Mechanical and Electrical Engineer or Designer to join our growing MEP consulting team. The successful candidate will participate in the design of HVAC, plumbing, electrical power, lighting, and building systems for challenging commercial, institutional, laboratory, and government projects.

\n

This position offers the opportunity to work directly with experienced Professional Engineers on projects from initial concept through construction administration.

\n

\n

Responsibilities:

\n

Prepare engineering calculations and system sizing

\n

Design HVAC, plumbing, or electrical systems

\n

Produce construction drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit

\n

Coordinate with architects and other engineering disciplines

\n

Perform field investigations and site surveys

\n

Review contractor submittals and RFIs

\n

Participate in construction administration

\n

Attend client and project coordination meetings

\n

Assist with preparation of specifications and technical reports

\n

\n

Qualifications:

\n

Mechanical Engineer or Designer:

\n

• \n
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• \n
• Experience with HVAC and plumbing design preferred
• \n
• Working knowledge of California Mechanical Code, Plumbing Code, Energy Code (Title 24), and applicable standards
• \n

\n

Electrical Engineer or Designer:

\n

• \n
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• \n
• Experience designing building electrical systems
• \n
• Knowledge of power distribution, lighting, emergency power, and Title 24 energy requirements
• \n

\n

\n

Preferred Experience:

\n

3–5+ years of consulting engineering experience

\n

AutoCAD proficiency

\n

Revit experience preferred

\n

Bluebeam Revu

\n

Microsoft Office

\n

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

\n

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

\n
