Position Summary:

The Assembler is responsible for the assembly of components and products in a manufacturing environment, following technical instructions and quality standards to produce high-quality items. This role involves assembling parts, inspecting finished products, and ensuring adherence to safety and production requirements. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail and manual dexterity to assemble items accurately and efficiently.

In This Role You Will:

  • Assemble Products:
    • Follow assembly instructions, blueprints, or schematics to assemble mechanical or electronic components into finished products.
  • Operate Tools and Equipment:
    • Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and efficiently to assemble parts.
  • Inspect Components:
    • Check parts and components for defects or inconsistencies before assembly.
  • Quality Control:
    • Ensure that all assembled products meet quality standards, performing quality checks and making adjustments when necessary.
  • Follow Safety Guidelines:
    • Comply with all company safety protocols and report any unsafe conditions or incidents immediately.
  • Meet Production Targets:
    • Work to meet daily, weekly, or monthly production targets and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with Team Members:
    • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Maintain Work Area:
    • Keep the work area clean and organized, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored.
  • Document Work:
    • Complete necessary documentation such as assembly reports, quality checklists, or production logs.
  • Troubleshooting:
    • Identify and report mechanical, technical, or operational issues during the assembly process.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in assembly or manufacturing is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, or technical instructions.
  • Ability to lift heavy items, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Strong focus on quality and precision in assembly work.
  • Ability to troubleshoot minor issues with parts or tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to supply personal tools is a plus.

Work Environment:

  • This role is performed in a manufacturing setting with exposure to noise, dust, and machinery.
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, or ear protection may be required.
