Mechanical Assembler

Thompson First Group is seeking Mechanical Assemblers for temporary to permanent opportunities for a local client in Aston, PA.

Job Description:

• Read and interpret mechanical drawings to determine material requirements and assembly instructions
• Operate portable power tools
• Utilize small hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers and pliers.
• 1-2 years of Mechanical Assembly experience
• Ability to read and understand documents written in standard English
• Ability to read and interpret production drawings and work instructions
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form
• Ability to solve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
• Be safety and quality-oriented, accountable, dependable, reliable, productive, ethical, a strong communicator, innovative, a team player, and have a positive attitude
