Mechanical Assembler

We have an outstanding Contract position for aMechanical Assemblerto join a leading Company located in theBaldwin Park, CAsurrounding area.

Pay Rate: $20 - $23

Shift: 6 AM to 2:30 PM M-F.

Responsibilities :

• Assembles raw material into relatively small or light subassemblies and complete units.

• Tests, calibrates, and fits parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications.

• Works from product specifications and instructions to properly assemble the product.

• Uses hand tools and small power tools properly.

• Uses equipment, machinery, and materials properly.

• Maintains a safe and clean working environment.

• Other duties as assigned.

Basic Hiring Criteria :

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Minimum 1-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience.

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, Parts Manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

• Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time.

• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
