Education Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Technical training in manufacturing, mechanical assembly, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and work instructions.

Experience Requirements

• 1-2 years of mechanical assembly, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience preferred.
• Experience assembling mechanical, hydraulic, or electro-mechanical equipment.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and testing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow standard operating procedures and quality requirements.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment to meet production goals.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with hydraulic systems, lifts, ramps, or electro-mechanical assemblies.
• Knowledge of quality inspection, testing procedures, and product troubleshooting.
• Experience reviewing engineering drawings and assembly documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify and report production issues.
• Manufacturing, assembly, or industrial equipment experience in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Capabilities

• Regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds, frequently up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach throughout the workday.
• Ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks using hands and arms.
• Strong visual acuity, including close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing and production environment.

Job Duties

• Assemble hydraulic lifts, ramps, and electro-mechanical products throughout various stages of production, including final assembly.
• Install and test moving components such as shafts, bearings, levers, and related mechanical parts.
• Inspect components and completed assemblies to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
• Read and follow blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and assembly instructions.
• Test, adjust, and troubleshoot products to ensure proper performance and functionality.
• Support engineering and production teams with testing, data collection, and product improvements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company safety standards.
• Assist with additional production, assembly, and manufacturing duties as assigned.

What You Will Do

As a Mechanical Assembler you will assemble products, components, or equipment using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and assembly instructions. You will inspect completed assemblies, verify measurements, identify quality concerns, maintain organized work areas, and support production goals while following established manufacturing procedures and workplace safety standards.

The Mechanical Assembler supports manufacturing by assembling products according to engineering specifications and production requirements. This role requires mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow detailed work instructions.
