Essential Job Responsibilities
Assemble or fabricate mechanical parts, pieces, or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications.
Perform this work in a specific area of a production line in our Prefabrication shop.
Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, and specifications.
Work with electrical components like circuit breakers and electrical cabinet utilizing handheld tools like drills and screwdrivers.
Minimum Qualifications
Required:
Have a passion for working with your hands and solving problems.
Possess demonstrated mechanical ability.
Be able to read blueprints and work orders.
Be able to read/use a tape measure.
Possess basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills as well as a normal range of hearing and vision.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Climbing up and down stairs and ladders to both get in and out of trenches and up to elevated platforms (scaffolding at significant heights).
Lifting necessary equipment and materials 1-50 pounds, 50% of the time monthly for required tasks.
Potential or Periodic amounts of time for the following:
Walking on uneven terrain, with an average of two miles per day.
Standing
This role requires compliance with all applicable safety regulations, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and Loenbros Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) policies.
