Mechanical Assembler

Our client, a leader in the industrial manufacturing construction equipment, is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join their team. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be part of the assembly department supporting production of construction equipment. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, teamwork skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Location: Shippensburg, PA

Pay Range: $18 to $20 an hour to start

Shift: 1st shift

What's the Job?

• Perform diversified assembly operations required to assemble various sizes and models of construction equipment
• Work involves the assembly of complete machines, machine sections, or subassemblies, and diagnosing malfunctions or difficulties
• Receive direction from the Manager and daily work assignments from the Team Leader
• Work from complex drawings, work instructions, bill of material sheets, and specifications to plan assembly operations ensuring conformity to specifications
• Fit, adjust, and align components such as gears, shafts, keys, and bearings; assemble complete machines or sub-assemblies as assigned

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in mechanical assembly or related field
• Ability to interpret complex drawings and work instructions
• Proficiency with hand tools, air tools, and mechanical assembly techniques
• Credential requirements: 100037, 100006
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
