Job description:
Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm
POSITION
Cleanroom Production Tech 1
DESCRIPTIONS
- Experience working in a cleanroom environment utilizing industry standard ESD practice.
- Proficient in small/component parts, skills in soldering and use of semi-automated tooling for building and testing on HSA & HDD lines.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Perform assembly work using a microscope and small hand tools such as tweezers, and razor blades in a cleanroom environment.
- Understand and apply all manufacturing procedures and other necessary documentation as it relates to the product line.
- Work with assigned equipment and recognize mechanical problems as they arise.
- Comply with all safety and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Performs basic maintenance on tools or equipment and notifies supervisor of needed repairs.
- Dependability Follows instructions, respond to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Keeps commitments; completes tasks correctly and on time, or notifies the appropriate person with an alternate plan.
- Performs other duties assigned as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
- At least 2 years of experience in electrical device assembly (soldering, general knowledge of cleanroom and procedures).
- Experienced using electrical device equipment.
- Demonstrate knowledge of manufacturing principles practices, and procedures.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to work cooperatively with co-workers.
- Computer Skills: Basic knowledge in computers - accessing email, training, and documents via company network.
- This position will be performed in a clean room production environment which requires certain preparation and gowning practices.
- Must be able to complete repetitive movements for extensive periods of time.
- Must be able to work overtime as requested.
- Ability to perform duties in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Ability to work in the line with very minimal supervision.
