Mechanical Assembler - Cleveland, OH - Job 26-00148

Pay Range: $24.00 - $29.00/HR Permanent Position with Benefits
Shift: 6am - 2:30pm

The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling components used in products, including heat exchangers and related systems. This role requires strong blueprint reading skills, mechanical aptitude, and experience using standard shop tools and measuring equipment. The Mechanical Assembler works closely with machinists and engineering to ensure quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble components according to detailed blueprints and work instructions
• Use standard shop math, tools, and measuring equipment (micrometers, gauges, torque wrenches)
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
• Communicate effectively with production and engineering teams
• Follow all safety procedures

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years fabrication or assembly experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Experience with pressurized equipment or welded vessels preferred
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs.
