Mechanical Assembler Job Responsibilities
· Ability to read and understand metric tape measure (millimeters)
· Ability to read and problem solve drawings
· Working within a team in order to complete customer orders by expected shipping date
· Completing customer orders assigned by team lead/manager in the allocated amount of time given (barring any design/vendor issues)
· Assembling Level 1, 2, 3 product applications upon completion of training on that product from Rene Calle
· Performing pre-assembly applications
· Following all Robotunits standards
· Following customer specific standards
· Submitting pallet sizes to packaging in a timely manner for increased efficiency of production
· Performing and sustaining workplace organization daily – 5S
· Reporting issues to Team Lead / Management
· Providing feedback
· Following all company policies (attendance, time off, proper notice for time off, uniform, shoes, safety)
Level 1 Assembly Applications
Basic System Panels (Safety Fencing & Polycarbonate; SBE, SBS, SBD, SBF); Allround System (SAE, SAP, SAS, SAD, SAF); Frames; Guardings; Install Aluminum & Plastic CAL; Conveyor Stands; Material Handling System (MHS); Standard Conveyors (C4N, C5N, C8N – A, B, E)
Level 2 Assembly Applications
Nose Bar & Center Drive Conveyors (C4N, C5N, C8N – G, K, N); Timing Belt Conveyors (C4T, C8T – A, O, T, U); Linear Motion Units (LIN5010, LIN1010); Wiring VFDs & Motors; Service Calls
Level 3 Assembly Applications
Modular Conveyors Straight & Curve (C8M A, E – C8MC A, E); Power Rollers Straight & Curves (R5S, C, M, T); Transfer Units; Lift Stations; Programming; Knowledge of Saw, Cutting, Packaging; CNC operations; Lead Eligibility
