Mechanical Assembler III

Location: Minden, NV

Contract Duration: 1-year, with possible extension, W2

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM-2:00 PM

Work Environment: Onsite, climate-controlled manufacturing facility

Pay: $20.75/hr

Position Overview

We are seeking a Mechanical Assembler III to join a manufacturing team in Minden, NV. This is a hands-on position responsible for assembling mechanical components, performing functional testing, operating test equipment, and preparing completed products for shipment.

The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical background, works efficiently in a production environment, and is comfortable following detailed assembly and testing instructions while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical components according to bill of material (BOM) requirements.
  • Perform functional testing on completed mechanical assemblies.
  • Test and assemble equipment according to customer and production requirements.
  • Operate testing equipment in accordance with established engineering standards.
  • Apply proper equipment settings and perform required calibration activities.
  • Maintain and properly use assembly tools and equipment.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure assemblies meet established requirements.
  • Prepare finished assemblies for shipment.
  • Maintain an efficient production pace while meeting quality expectations.
  • Work safely and follow established manufacturing procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year of relevant mechanical, manufacturing, or assembly experience.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on technical skills.
  • Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a production-focused environment.
  • Comfortable standing throughout the work shift.
  • Ability to meet production expectations of approximately 40 units per hour.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • English communication skills.

Preferred Experience

Experience in one or more of the following areas is helpful:

  • Mechanical assembly
  • Manufacturing or production
  • Sensors or instrumentation
  • Electrical components
  • Oil and gas equipment
  • SAP or SAP Digital Manufacturing
  • Mechanical testing and calibration

Work Environment

  • 100% onsite in Minden, Nevada.
  • Climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
  • Workshop/manufacturing-based position.
  • Standing for the majority of the shift.
  • Safety boots and safety glasses required.
