Summary:
A manufacturing company specializing in the production of motor vehicle safety products is looking to add an Assembler to their team. The position is primarily responsible for assembling parts within the production department.
Responsibilities:
* Follows prints or assembly instructions to produce sub- assemblies of parts.
* Uses small tools and to assemble units
* Rejects defective parts according to quality procedures
* Identifies units that fail tests and repairs, as necessary
Requirements:
* Former experience interpreting blueprints in a manufacturing environment
* Moderately fine manipulation /handling detail parts.
* Must be able to lift 20 lbs.
* Considerable bending/standing /some sitting.
