Job Details:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Mechanical Assembler to join our dynamic team in the Construction industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining various machinery and equipment. This role plays a vital part in our company's product development process and will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role and a strong understanding of motors, valves, blueprints, and wiring.

Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and install various types of machinery and equipment according to precise specifications.
  • Read and interpret mechanical blueprints and diagrams to position parts correctly.
  • Utilize a variety of hand tools for assembly.
  • Inspect and test completed units to ensure they meet quality standards and performance criteria.
  • Adjust, repair, or replace faulty components as necessary.
  • Collaborate with a team of engineers and other production staff to resolve assembly and production issues.
  • Maintain clean and safe work areas.
  • Keep detailed records of work performed and materials used.
  • Conduct regular maintenance on machinery and equipment.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures for safety and quality.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Assembler or in a similar role in the Construction industry.
  • Proficient in assembling and maintaining motors and valves.
  • Advanced knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints.
  • Strong understanding of electrical wiring and its applications.
  • Skilled in using a wide range of hand tools and equipment.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • A relevant certification or associate degree in mechanical engineering or related field is preferred.
