We are seeking a Mechanic Assembler for a manufacturing company that builds industrial machinery. This position will be responsible for both large machine assembly and sub-assemblies.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble large and small machinery with precision fitments, ensuring high-quality builds.
  • Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, GD&T symbols, and tolerances to execute precise assembly.
  • Modify parts as needed when machining adjustments are required.
  • Operate milling machines and lathes to refine or adjust components for assembly.
  • Safely move and position large machine parts
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment, following best practices for heavy machinery handling.

MUST HAVES:

  • 2+ years of experience in mechanical assembly of large industrial machinery
  • Must be able to interpret mechanical blueprints
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
