Role Overview

The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling mechanical components and sub-assemblies according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards. This role requires hands-on assembly skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with tools and small to medium-sized components in a manufacturing environment.
This job will have the following responsibilities:
  • Assemble mechanical parts and sub-assemblies using hand tools and fixtures
  • Read and follow assembly drawings, work instructions, and bills of materials
  • Perform alignment, fitting, fastening, and basic adjustments of components
  • Inspect assembled parts to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Identify, document, and report assembly issues or defects
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Support production schedules and meet quality and productivity requirements
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Basic mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and instructions
  • Familiarity with hand tools and basic measuring instruments
  • Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with electromechanical or precision assemblies
  • Cleanroom or controlled-environment experience
  • Basic computer skills for documentation or work tracking
