We are seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for completing mechanical builds and assembly operations according to engineering drawings, sales orders, and established manufacturing standards
Job Description:
Complete mechanical builds and assembly operations according to prints, sales orders, and production requirements.
Read and understand simple mechanical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
Perform testing and troubleshooting of assembled equipment.
Read electrical schematics and perform field wiring when qualified.
Use hand tools, measuring instruments, and other assembly equipment safely and accurately.
Perform basic arithmetic involving decimals and fractions and accurately record measurements.
Safely operate a sit-down forklift; forklift experience is preferred.
Use overhead hoists and lifting equipment as required and trained.
Qualifications:
Previous mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience preferred.
Ability to read and understand basic drawings and blueprints.
Ability to use measuring instruments and common hand tools.
Mechanical troubleshooting and testing experience preferred.
Ability to read electrical schematics and perform wiring is a plus.
Sit-down forklift experience preferred.
Ability to safely lift, move, and position materials and components.
