Job Title: Mechanical Assembler Industry: Oil & Gas Location: Minden, NV 89423 Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.25 Job Summary The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling, testing, and preparing mechanical equipment according to engineering specifications, customer requirements, and bill-of-material (BOM) documentation. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to follow established procedures to ensure product quality and reliability. Key Responsibilities Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies in accordance with bill-of-material (BOM) requirements Perform functional testing on mechanical assemblies to verify performance and quality Test-assemble equipment to meet customer and internal division criteria Operate test equipment in compliance with engineering standards and procedures Apply proper settings, calibrate, and maintain assembly and test tools Inspect completed assemblies and prepare products for shipment Follow work instructions, safety guidelines, and quality standards at all times Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent 1+ year of relevant mechanical assembly or testing experience Strong mechanical background with hands-on assembly skills Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work Preferred Skills (Optional, if you choose to include) Experience reading mechanical drawings or schematics Familiarity with calibration and test equipment Basic troubleshooting skillsI
