Role: Mechanical Assembler Location: Pasadena, TX - Onsite Employment Type: Contract Duration: 12+ Months Pay: $28-30/hr on W2 (Inclusive all) Shift Detail - M-F 7am-3:30pm with some weekend and other OT hours when needed
Description:
Assembles complex components per assembly drawings / bill of material. Performs functional testing on assemblies. Tests assemblies per customer and/or division criteria. Operates test equipment in compliance with engineering standards. Applies settings, calibrates and maintains assembly tools. Performs torquing of various components. Distributes quality notifications (qn's).
The Mechanical Assembler works with complex components per the mechanical drawings and/or bill of material.
As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for:
Assembling components per bill of materials requirements
Performing functional testing on assemblies.
Operating test equipment in compliance with engineering standards.
Running Pneumatic Tubing.
Prepping assemblies for shipment.
Education
High School Diploma or GED
Requirements of the Role
Experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or industrial environments
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and BOMs
Basic mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools
