    Description

    We're looking for a Mechanical Assembler to join our customers group in the lighting & optics area.  This would be a temp-to-perm arrangement.  

    Responsibilities
    • Read and interpret schematics, engineering drawings, bills of materials, and work instructions to accurately assemble components and subassemblies
    • Perform bench-level mechanical assembly using hand and power tools, ensuring proper fit, alignment, and functionality
    • Follow established safety procedures and maintain compliance with company standards
    • Complete work according to production schedules with minimal supervision
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
    • Collaborate with team members and support continuous improvement efforts
    • Perform other duties and projects as assigned



    Qualifications
    • High school diploma or GED required
    • 2+ years of mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing or production setting
    • Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as schematics, BOMs, and work instructions
    • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and accuracy
    • Experience using hand and power tools
    • Basic computer skills
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly
    • Self-motivated with the ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
