Pay Rate: $19/hour
Position Summary:
The Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling manufactured products and packing them according to specifications. This role requires meeting assigned production targets while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assemble machinery, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment, appliances, and related components per work instructions
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and assembly documentation to build products to specification
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment
- Maintain accurate production logs, maintenance records, and reports related to discrepancies or defects
- Perform basic equipment and conveyor maintenance and minor repairs as needed
- Inventory tools, parts, and supplies; coordinate with materials handlers for replenishment
- Conduct routine quality checks to ensure consistency and compliance with company standards
- Identify, troubleshoot, and escalate quality or production issues to supervisors
- Demonstrate teamwork, professionalism, and a positive, safety-focused attitude
- Support production demands by adhering to scheduled hours, overtime requirements, and assigned break periods
- Perform additional duties as assigned
