Mechanical Assemblers

Basic assembly, screwing in bolts and nuts. Read blueprints and technical drawings to understand how parts fit together. Gather materials and parts needed for each job from the inventory stock. Align and fit machined metal components using manual hands or shop hoists. Fasten parts together using bolts, screws, rivets, or light welding tools. Use shop tools like drills, grinders.  Measure finished work using calipers and micrometers to verify correct dimensions. Debur and clean metal parts using air hoses, files, and cleaning solutions before assembly. Troubleshoot problems when parts do not fit properly and report issues to the machinist or supervisor. Maintain equipment by performing basic routine cleaning and tool maintenance.
