Champion Personnel is hiring Mechanical Assembly Associates in Streetsboro, Ohio. As a Mechanical Assembly Associate, you'll assemble mechanical components and electrical enclosures by following blueprints, work instructions, and production specifications. You'll use a variety of hand and power tools to install hardware, fasteners, brackets, and other components while ensuring every product meets the high standards for quality and craftsmanship.
This position requires attention to detail, a strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll inspect completed assemblies, verify measurements, maintain a clean and organized work area, and work closely with your team to meet daily production goals.
Qualified candidates should have previous manufacturing, assembly, construction, or mechanical experience. Experience using hand and power tools is preferred, and the ability to read blueprints or mechanical drawings is a plus. Candidates must be able to lift up to 30 pounds, stand throughout the shift, and perform repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining quality and accuracy.
Requirements include the ability to pass a 10-panel drug screen and a 7-year criminal background check. Steel-toe boots are required.
