Champion Personnel is hiring a Mechanical Assembler for a growing and stable manufacturing company in Portage County! This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a company experiencing rapid growth and a strong backlog of orders.

? Pay & Schedule
1st Shift:
$21/hour
Monday – Thursday
2:00 PM – 12:30 AM
? What You’ll Do:
Assemble fabricated and electrical components, subassemblies, and enclosures
Interpret 3D models and assembly drawings
Use hand tools to assemble cabinet components and frames
Install power cables and components according to design specifications
Apply torque requirements per drawings
Inspect parts and assemblies to meet quality standards
Report and document any quality concerns
? What We’re Looking For:
Mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment or transferable mechanical experience
Ability to read assembly drawings and follow detailed instructions
Comfortable using hand tools and wire crimpers
Strong attention to detail
Basic computer skills (email, documentation)
? Physical Requirements:
Lift up to 35 lbs
Stand for extended periods
Bend, squat, kneel, climb stepladders
Good hand dexterity and vision for detailed work
