Responsibilities include:
- Assemble large industrial equipment using your own hand tools
- Read and interpret blueprints and assembly drawings with minimal guidance
- Install, fit, and secure metal and steel components
- Perform mechanical assembly work including fastening, aligning, and adjusting parts
- Troubleshoot basic fit and assembly issues during the build process
- Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the workday
- Operate a forklift as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Background Profile
- Proven mechanical aptitude with hands-on assembly or equipment-building experience required
- Must have your own basic hand tools (wrenches, sockets, screwdrivers, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and assembly drawings required
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Electrical or welding experience is a plus and may lead to cross-training opportunities
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team
