Mechanical Assembly Technician
A manufacturer in Phoenix builds power distribution equipment used in AI data centers, hospitals, and other critical facilities across the country. They have immediate openings and are hiring now for Mechanical Assemblers on their day shift team.
It's a temp-to-hire role — Monday through Friday, consistent hours, with a real path to permanent if you're a good fit. The facility is temperature controlled, clean and new. Pay is $20/hr weekly with great benefits available.
Responsibilities
- Use impact drivers, power drills, torque wrenches, and other hand tools daily
- Assemble and install mechanical parts and structural components
- Read blueprints, diagrams, and production instructions
- Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met
- Build components used in large-scale power systems
- Support a clean, safe, and team-oriented production environment
Requirements
- At least 6 months of recent experience using impact drivers, power drills, torque wrenches in a work environment
- Experience in construction, assembly, framing, automotive, manufacturing, installation, or mechanical roles
- Ability to read blueprints or follow assembly instructions
- Comfortable standing throughout the shift and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Reliable attendance and willingness to learn new skills
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
- Overtime available per business needs
