JOB TITLE: Mechanical Assembly Technician
LOCATION:Mesa, AZ
PAY RATE: $34/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

• Shift: Monday Thursday 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM with overtime required on an as needed basis.

Qualifying Questions:

• Are you a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual) as defined under ITAR regulations?

• Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role?

• Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?

Summary:

• Assists with disassembly of systems components to correct failures or implement changes.

• Assists with basic troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.

• Performs validation and verification testing of systems and components.

• Fabricates and modifies aerospace products according to specifications.

• Assists with safe handling of a simple aerospace vehicle including jacking, towing, and system operations.

• Performs daily repair, modification, and assembly of AH-64 mechanical components.

• Works under supervision.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• Proficiency in reading and writing English.

• Ability to pass certification classes including Torque, Safetying Practices, Mixing, and Sealant.

• Ability to lift 35 lbs.

• Ability to remain standing for extended periods of time.

• Ability to perform repair, modification, and assembly of AH-64 mechanical components.
