A well-established automation manufacturing company in Newnan, GA is looking for a Mechanical Assembly Technicians to join their team.

This is a custom build environment where each system is built to customer specification. If you have strong mechanical fundamentals, can work directly from engineering drawings, and take pride in precise, quality-driven work, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do:

• Build and fit mechanical systems from the ground up, including frames, drive systems, motors, gearboxes, wheels, bearings, and structural components
• Work directly from engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications on every build
• Perform mechanical adjustments, alignments, and fit-up to ensure assemblies come together correctly
• Inspect completed assemblies and verify they meet quality standards before moving forward
• Track down and resolve mechanical issues that arise during the build process, identifying root causes rather than just symptoms
• Play an active role in system testing, commissioning, and final validation before equipment ships to the customer

What We're Looking For:

• Demonstrated ability to read and work directly from mechanical drawings and assembly documentation
• Experience with industrial machinery, automation systems, conveyors, vehicles, or complex mechanical equipment
• Familiarity with torque specifications, precision measurements, and quality inspections
• Hands-on mechanical aptitude with solid experience using tools and equipment in a technical environment
• Background in manufacturing, assembly, industrial equipment, automotive, aviation, military technical fields, or AGV systems
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
