    Description

    Position Description:

    In accordance with ANSI/Schlumberger standards, the mechanical CAD designer is in charge of creating and maintaining engineering or sustaining project design layouts, production drawings, and other pertinent documentation while taking into account manufacturing processes and tolerances and how they affect related parts or assemblies.

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    Work as a design engineer for maintenance or correction.

    Utilizing the CAD system, create innovative mechanical layouts of moderate complexity.

    Use the CAD system to create and maintain electrical and electronic product and production drawings of the highest complexity, mechanical product and production drawings of average complexity, and other associated documentation using layouts, sketches, or verbal instructions, depending on seniority.

    Ensure the accuracy of your assignments, with the exception of design elements, which fall under the project engineer's purview.

    Recognize the standards, practices, and drafting methods used by ANSI/Schlumberger.

    Recognize the methods and processes used in Schlumberger manufacturing as well as how ANSI/Schlumberger standards and guidelines should be interpreted.

    has a fundamental understanding of the mechanical product line and, depending on seniority, a partial or complete understanding of the electrical and electronic product lines.

    Keep track of the progress of all given projects.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    3 years of experience or an Associate of Science

    Exposures: Product File Management at a Manufacturing Center

    understanding and expertise in GD&T

    Mechanical 3D printing using CAD

    specific expertise in CAD modeling Helix 3D profiles

    Especially using Creo for CAD modeling

    CAD management experience using Windchill (which we do in GEMS)

    The ability to work and live in the US legally without sponsorship is a requirement for candidates.
